OUR PRODUCTS
Converting waste into
innovation
A minimum of 60% recycled PET is used in our Premier™ felt products. This recycled PET is sourced from bottles that would normally go to landfill, closing the loop on a valuable resource.
Discarded bottles
Discarded bottles are cleaned and cut into flakes before being extruded into fibres of white colour.
Regenerated fibres
Regenerated fibres are coloured and made into pellets.
Recycled PET Pellets
Recycled PET pellets are blended with virgin PET ready for processing to form felt panels.
Waste is utilised
Acoustic felt panels are made from a minimum of 60% recycled PET.
End-of-life
Acoufelt has partnered with UPPAREL, a certified Australian textile recovery and recycling organisation who are transforming Acoufelt’s felt off-cuts and wastage into new functional material. Off-cuts from our Melbourne Factory are sent to UPPAREL for processing into FILLUP to be made as cushion and mattress filler.

Powered by Solar
The use of solar panels attached to key factory locations means that your panels are generated using around 30-40% onsite renewables – powered by the sun.
Environmental Labels
To support green building projects and material transparency. Our label certifications indicate that our products are safe for people and the planet, and can be used to qualify toward green building ratings.
Carbon Footprint Tracking
To deliver on our mission, 2023 marks the base year for our carbon footprint, conducted across all areas of the global business. This will help us to set goals for the future, measure and benchmark effectively.
