The UCOL project incorporated high-performance acoustic materials to create a quieter, more comfortable learning environment. QuietBack Elemental Ultra High Sound Absorption carpet tiles were installed to reduce impact noise and improve overall acoustic performance, backed by a 20-year warranty for long-term durability.

Complementing the flooring, Acoufelt Premier AP12 12mm acoustic wall panels were integrated throughout key spaces to further minimise reverberation, enhancing speech clarity and occupant comfort.
